A remote network is a network which is connected to Internet and is having one or more PCs or IP Cameras attached to it.
To better understand, first analyze your network in picture above. You are on Machine no. 6 which is a part of a Network and your local IP Address is 192.168.1.3. However, there can be a case where you are directly connected to Internet and is having a direct public IP Address e.g. 74.86.148.120. In both the cases, the ultimate target is to gain access to and integrate the machines with serial nos. 1,2,3 & 4 with your surveillance software. You can also integrate machine no. 5 in your surveillance setup.
Access:
To access the remote network 1(machine no. 1,2,3) and machine no.4 from your computer, these computers have to install a PLUG-IN, available with Watch N Catch, and they are now ready to be integrated with your surveillance software.
